Speed accuracy is assured through MPH’s exclusive distance-measuring radar technology. Utilizing a fourth-generation speed sensor, the Speed Guardian eliminates false speed readings caused by opposite-direction vehicles. Additionally, when paired with the SpeedView traffic computer, the device provides highly accurate traffic counts without requiring traditional road tubes.

Designed for convenience, the Speed Guardian is a fully self-contained unit that easily mounts onto existing poles. It features large, 18-inch digits illuminated by ultra-bright LEDs for clear visibility even in direct sunlight, with automatic dimming during nighttime. The device operates reliably using either standard 110 VAC power or an optional solar power supply.
